Young men and women who has mister meanors cannot get a job, but Mayor Joe Ganim who spent years in Jail can get a second chance.

Bridgeport Major Bill Finch has lost the Democratic primary to former Mayor Joe Ganim. Ganim was elected to run the state’s largest city five times (5x), but has been out of elective politics for years after spending seven years in federal prison after being convicted on 16 charges, including extortion, bribery, and racketeering while in office. How is this at all possible? When a young men or women who get in a trouble for mister meanors crimes has a difficult time getting a job.

Before Joe Ganim’s legal troubles, he was considered a potential candidate for governor after helping Bridgeport with bankruptcy issues and bringing a new Bluefish  ballpark and arena to the city.  Though Finch’s campaign indicates that violent crime and property crime is lower now than during any period in which Ganim was mayor. They say violent crime has fallen 13-percent since he’s been in office.

Do you feel it is fair for a man who has spent time behind bars, has a second chance to become mayor?

Tagine Fine Moroccan Cuisine - Resturant Review

On Monday, December 16th,  My stop was with Sweet Dreams CEO's Mandisa at Tagine Fine Moroccan Cuisine. Being in midtown, Manhattan, New York you sometimes don't know how your day will turn out or who you will meet. Hence my love for one of the greatest cities in the world.  As I was with my newborn son of five months Sebastian, we enjoy the city as much as we could from a long day. The night ended with dinner at Tagine Fine Moroccan Cuisine where we Longe's was treated like us to VIP treatment from the owner. I haven't had Moroccan food in years, and I must say I was impressed with food choice by the owner for each of us.  I had the Classic chicken dish and Sweet Dream's CEO Mandisa had a Lamb classic dish.

Along with my dish I enjoyed the dancing and entertainment that also capture my newborn’ attention, whom to me, one day he will become “Star”. Have you ever looked at someone and see destiny in their eyes? This is what I saw when Sebastian was enjoying some of my  Moroccan Chicken dish and the ladies dancers at Tagine. So Tagine will how a special place in my heart as it connected a thought and inspiration with my son. A great evening is consumed with great food, great conversation and great company.

Tagine is the only artisanal Moroccan restaurant that has a variety of gluten free dishes on the menu as well as an executive chef who can accommodate any dietary request. As the food is good, it's also beautiful and comfortable interior decorated making it easy to relax.

Moroccan cuisine is extremely refined, thanks to Morocco's interactions and exchanges with other cultures and nations over the centuries. Moroccan cuisine has been subject to Moorish and Berber influences.

The main Moroccan dish many are familiar with is couscous, the old national delicacy. Beef is the most commonly eaten red meat in Morocco as well as Lamb. But as North African sheep breeds store most of their fat in their tails, Moroccan lamb does not have the pungent flavor that Western lamb and mutton have. Poultry is common, and the use of seafood is increasing in Moroccan food. Among the most famous Moroccan dishes are Couscous, Pastilla (also spelled Bsteeya or Bestilla), Tajine, Tanjia and Harira. Although the latter is a soup, it is considered as a dish in itself and is served as such or with dates especially during the month of Ramadan. Pork consumption is forbidden in accordance with Sharia, religious laws of Islam.

The Moroccan people (Berber: Imurakuciyen, Arabic: المغاربة‎, al-Maghaaribah, Moroccan Arabic: Lemgharba) are a people that share a common Moroccan culture, ancestry and speak the Moroccan variant of the Arabic language or a Berber language as a mother tongue. In addition to the 35 million Moroccans in Morocco, there are large migrant populations in France, Belgium, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Libya, and smaller groups in United Kingdom, United States and Canada (see Moroccan Diaspora).

“Like a rose that blossoms out of a sidewalk crack, Tagine sweetens the theatre district with an exotic and alluring perfume. Moroccan lamps, hand-woven berber textiles and cushy seating create an understated elegance. Habitués of the restaurant/lounge steep themselves in the Maghreb, sipping luscious orange blossom sangria, savoring fragrant Tagines, entranced by belly dancers and hookah pipes. What a shock to step outside, following this amazing mélange of sensory delights and find not camels and dunes, but rather midtown Manhattan.”

It’s time for a change, Stop trying road map my life and live for you!

As I get to another level in my life, I am slowing seeing that people you wish dearly to be on your journey until the end will not. This is because when you’re meant to do great things in life sometimes your surrounding must change. I feel deeply that it’s time for my change and I have to embrace it. I hope people can understand it’s not because I don’t want to hang out with you anymore. It’s just time for a change in my life and I just need sometime to see where God is taking me.

I must now set aside time to speak with someone who can help guide me to my greater calling, so when I am on the front cover of Forbes its exactly how it needed to happen. The question is? How can I pint point the people who see that I am kindhearted and take me from grant. How to purify my energy for those who really need the wealth of knowledge and contacts I have. I need to develop the intuition to understand when someone just want to be on the bandwagon and trying to figure out what is in it for them.

Helping people all of my life has brought much pain and heartache, because when I when I am helping I mean well. The seed which I have sow will come to me full rounded and I can almost taste the greatest and change that is about to occur in my life. Friends and family alike will think I have changed, but it’s only that I truly becoming the person God wanted me to become.

Talk the talk by Ms.T, Tittle: “Don’t Waste my time, it’s way too valuable for you”

The general purpose of this blog is for my readers to share what I am going through and to see if they can relate. This can cover all the issues that a human being could possibly encounter.

Let's get into it then,

When I woke up this morning at 6 am I do the first thing I usually do, check my emails. Most business owners and people with important things going on in their lives tend to do this. This morning I received an email from a person on a board that I volunteer on, only for this person to write this email that I simply didn’t give a shit about. Everything with this person becomes so extra, when in reality it’s so simply, once that happened, it dawned on me that, I really need to be careful of how I spend my time and stop letting people waste it. Therefore, instead of replying to the email with niceties and professionalism, I became an ass and said “Whatever!”. I did this because what the individual was stating, was so off base, it simply did not make any sense, and just then, i knew I needed to stop wasting time with people who are not on my level. Keep it moving, why sit around and wait for someone to catch up.

I then got into my day, so at about 11am I was finish with most of my works stuff. Ever since I read the book "the 4-hour workweek", I try to do 4 hours of important work daily for my business. Still haven’t gotten to the point where I only spend 4 hours working for the entire week, but its still a goal. Once done, I try to stay on track with my high protein meals to keep looking good;  as I am very shallow when it comes to looks. Off to gym then! Where I spend roughly a hour and a half, after doing do what I do, I went in to the sweat box (Sauna) where I ran into a friend whom I haven’t seen in a year. Sometimes God just places you exactly where you need to be, she told me of her desired, which made me look at my day in a different light. Meaning instead of being annoyed by the email of the volunteer board I am on, I put myself in the person’s shoe and realized they just did not know better or they just couldn't see it’s time to move on and stop wasting time. Next time, I will do what I do best, act as if the email never came to the  "clouds' and simply ignore the “ego”  that they are trying show. When someone shows their ('ego"), I am the ASS for that person. Being humble and patience has become 2 of my greatest strengths, but when the bubble burst.... OMG...

Ms. Lovelace taught me in 30 minutes in the sweat box, there are just people in life that are meant for greatness and when you have a true calling such as this, people who waste your time on nonsense simply gets on your nerves. With knowing this, it allows me to reflect and understand why God has allowed all my success and failure alike to be so great. I have to relate, defuse and fix the good and bad alike that comes in my path. With that said, I have totally disowned a few friends, family members and associates for the mere fact that I saw their displacement in my life. If someone is negative in your life, when you’re trying to accomplish something, take your time and get great distance. Great distance will simply allow you not to care even if they die. Yes, it’s sad to say it out loud, but it’s true. But you probably will still go to their funeral out of niceties.

My personal quote for this blog is “ A women will forgive her lover 1000 times, but hate you for just one mistake”. Think about the meaning and use this to best of your ability. This is a factual statement. I am pretty sure many girlfriends and male friends that has been for years,  is totally no more for something simple like “forgetting”. Let me provide an example: “forgetting their abortion day at the doctors”, but they still marry the man who didn't even show up”. That’s all for today.
