Difficult economic times don’t stop Longe Expo

Trumbull, CT January 25, 2014 — With rumblings of doom and gloom in the world, Longe Expo (http://www.longeexpo.com) is a breath of fresh air. The Trumbull based company is intent on investing in inner city students, small businesses, fashion designers and musicians, but not without the right people on the campaign trail in the next fourty(40) days.

Founder/CMO Ms.Terrelonge hopes that other companies and individuals will follow in its footsteps. It’s a tough act to follow. In September 2014 alone, Longe expo will finance 45 inner city student’s who wants to be fashion designers, entrepreneurs, two (2) features designers from a third world country, kick start a small business and a musician path in next the exhibition project across North America.

“This country was built by entrepreneurs,” said Terrelonge, “and people have all but turned their backs on these same people in their time of need. Longe Expo will strive to achieve its goal of helping others that will one day be the infusion into our economy.”

An entrepreneur at heart, Terrelonge speaks from experience. She has owned and operated two companies over the years. “I understand peoples’ perspective and where they are coming from,” she says. But a pledge in the next 40 days, even $5 dollars can change someone’s life. (http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/longe-expo/x/6060605)

The Longe Expo is aggressively looking for people and companies who see the expo as an investment-worthy project – regardless of location. The Longe Expo is a project that has been going on for three years and this year we want to make a greater impact by reaching out to people who understands that greatness does not starts when everyone knows who you are.

“Our goal is to form partnerships where every involved party benefits,” continues Terrelonge. “We want to build long-lasting relationships with understanding people of the cause, to help another human being, because it’s the right thing to do. Another important goal for us is to build our philanthropic work. We are pledging 5 percent of yearly profits to charities across the U.S.”

Ms.Terrelonge served on the nonprofit board as Entrepreneur Chair for the “NSBE” Organization for who’s mission is “To increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community”. As Well as other nonprofit such as Connecticut Against Violence (CAV), Breast Cancer Society, and others.
